Dear Taali,

I’m heartened to hear about your recovery. Your journey resonates with the spirit of Japanese kintsugi, where breaks are mended with gold—turning scars into beautiful marks of history. Wishing you a swift recovery and may your next performance shine as brightly as gold.

Taali, glad to see you are still with us, and your lively writings continue. Triggered by your recent IG post, I've just read your nephrotic syndrome & auto accident stories and somehow feel healed by the descriptions of your life changing experiences.

This nearly 69 year old body and mind has recently undergone some disorienting changes in both health & career, making the last 12 months a time of change, changes which were often unpleasant.

Your stories have somehow given me a sense of perspective re my woes, mimicing a little the self realization you describe in your best,-death experiences.

Thank goodness you're doing well, and thanks for the teary eyes and smiles your writing has wrought!

Please stop scaring me and Jose. 🥹❤️😗. In all seriousness, thank you for your vulnerability in sharing your truth with us. Such an important reminder about life’s fragility and the essential truth for each of us, that our worth is inherent and unique, and not dependent on what we do or who we please. How hard we hustle. I still struggle with that. yet I can see the lesson in your experience. Time to pull my own head from my backside. I’m so glad you have recovered, queen! Time for a parade of flowers and sprinkle and ombre cakes!

Thank you so much Mary… quite literally owe my life to that team at Cedars. And yes everyone is sort of stunned and delighted at the speed of the recovery! Does have me clear and connected to all the angels that we all have around us. I leaned heavily on that when it felt the worst

The relief & glory I feel after learning you crashed, survived, & thrived are superlative like few things felt in my near 50 years. And I'm hella glad to have learned this shortly before your birthday.

What a celebration to have this coming Sunday, Empress T. Thank you for sharing this, and thank you for a helluva lot more days, weeks, months, years, stories, songs, and starlight.
